Today I managed to run another four miles, which makes me happy. There are a LOT of hills here (unlike home), and one major hill in particular that I hope to conquer. When I do so I will know that I am no longer at "square one". Don't expect any miracles with that one...
I have been on an emotional roller coaster since arriving here in OZ. Oddly enough it continues. There are moments that I would give up home to move here, but then loneliness takes over and I want to go home. :( I miss my family, friends, and naturally my BBB. He reminds me daily how important this is to my life and such. How did I find someone so strong, yet so real? He is pretty incredible. Moving on...
Yesterday I promised pictures of my new running spot. I did one better! After today's run I took some time to walk the park and shoot some video. It's kind of long, but the version I am sharing is actually TEN MINUTES shorter than the original version I intended on sharing. There is just so much to share. If you make it through the whole thing, then you should also know that I carefully picked each song as well. They kind of reflect the journey thus far. One more thing, the sky here is so beautiful and I happened to see something in the clouds when reviewing the video. I wonder who else will see it besides Sheff? :)
